Vidyodaya Undergraduate Research Day 2021
Vidyodaya Undergraduate Research Day 2021 organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be held from 14th to 16th December 2021 at the Faculty premises.
The advisor of Undergraduate Research Day 2021 is Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Under his guidance, this year’s conference is chaired by Prof. Wasantha Mendis of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies with the support of the Secretariat Dr. Sanjeewani Maythrirathne of the Department of History and Archeology.
Rev. Snr. Prof. M Dhammajothi, Director Post Graduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya will participate in the event as the Keynote Speaker. Also, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-Chancellor of the USJ, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dean of the FHSS will grace the event.
Throughout the three days of the event, more than 400 final-year undergraduates of the FHSS will present their dissertation findings in scientific sessions.
