The first International Research Conference on Gender Studies aims to provide a platform for academics, undergraduates, organizations, and communities to come together to discuss, share knowledge, and promote awareness of issues related to gender to promote greater understanding, dialogue, and action around issues related to gender, and to work towards creating a more equitable and inclusive world for all individuals, regardless of their gender identity.

- Submission of Revised Abstract – 15th September 2023
- Registration Closing Date – 20th September 2023
- Conference Date – 12th and 13th October 2023
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
- Paper presenters should be registered.
- A scan copy of the payment slip should be submitted with the registration form.
- Registration fee includes participation to the inauguration session and all technical sessions, certificate for the presentation (only for the presenters) and soft copy of the Proceeding Book.
- They are also entitled to the submission of a full paper to the ‘Pumithiri’ peer-reviewed e-journal, published by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Font Size: 12, 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman/FM Abhaya/Iskoola Potha
- Abstract paragraph (without Subheadings): Should include: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion and Conclusion
- Word Count: Maximum 300.
- Keywords: 3 – 5 key words in Italics, 12 size font, left aligned
